You may not be able to see it, but the whole boiling water didn't go so well the first 2 times. The first pot got to a rolling boil only to start having blue pieces float to the top. I guess that's what you get for melting crayons for VBS in a soup pot.

The next pot had soap in it. Soap? Seriously? So I got a little frustrated and had to have a little visit with my friends Ben and Jerry.

But it was mostly smooth sailing from there.

And voila!

It was good, too. And made a gazillion servings. It will probably be my meal for the next 15 or so meals. 

Next up: stroganoff. Get excited.
